When you purchase a CardFocus software license, you will receive a security device called a dongle to enable you to run the production version of the CardFocus edition that you have chosen.
The dongle acts like a key that attaches to an USB port on your computer to 'switch-on' CardFocus.
The dongle is a HID compliant device, meaning it does not require a device
driver.

Note: CardFocus first supported USB dongles after version 5.0, so if you are planning to use USB dongles with CardFocus, please ensure that you are using a version of CardFocus that is higher than 5.0.
